ABOUT
A FAMILY STORY
Lorgan's Archive is an Australian furniture store based in Perth, created as a new chapter in a family story shaped by furniture.
The name is an homage to Lorgan's, my father's retro furniture business in Singapore, and to the environment I grew up around. Furniture was never simply functional. It was about proportion, character and the way a single object could change the feeling of a room.
That early exposure shaped the way I still look at furniture today.
THE ARCHIVE
We curate made-to-order reproduction furniture inspired by some of modern design's most recognisable forms.
Rather than building a catalogue around trends, the collection focuses on silhouettes that have remained relevant because of their shape, proportion and presence.
Together, they form an evolving archive of pieces selected to work within contemporary Australian homes, studios and interior projects.
OUR APPROACH
ICONIC FORMS
We are drawn to furniture with a strong point of view, from sculptural curves and unusual proportions to architectural frames and recognisable silhouettes.
MADE TO ORDER
Much of the collection is produced to order, allowing us to offer a broader range of upholstery, finishes and configurations without carrying an unnecessary volume of stock.
SELECTED WITH INTENT
The collection is deliberately edited. Every piece is considered for its form, materiality, proportion and ability to live alongside both contemporary and vintage furniture.
DESIGN MADE ACCESSIBLE
Original vintage examples and licensed editions can be difficult to source and financially out of reach. Lorgan's Archive offers another way to bring those forms into a space.
FROM SINGAPORE TO PERTH
Lorgan's Archive grew from something personal.
My father built his furniture business in Singapore around an appreciation for retro and modern design. Growing up around that world gave me an understanding of furniture long before I thought about building a furniture business of my own.
Years later, Lorgan's Archive became a way of carrying part of that story forward. It is not intended as a recreation of my father's business, but as its next chapter: a new collection, a new market and a new interpretation of the same fascination with good furniture.
We believe great interiors do not need to be built entirely around rare originals or inaccessible price points.
They are built through considered choices. A strong chair beside a simple table. An unexpected silhouette against an otherwise quiet room. Something familiar mixed with something new.
Lorgan's Archive exists to make those kinds of pieces easier to live with. Not as museum objects, but as furniture intended to be used, lived with and enjoyed.
