Shipping & Delivery

Lorgan's Archive delivers made-to-order reproduction furniture Australia-wide.

Because our pieces are bulky, fragile or oversized, freight is quoted after your order is placed and before dispatch. Regional and remote delivery is available by quote.

For delivery questions, contact us at hello@lorgansarchive.com.au or 0424 848 466.

Payment and Made-to-Order Timeframes

All of our furniture is made to order and produced specifically for each customer.

A 50% deposit is required before production begins. The remaining 50% balance must be paid before your order is released for shipping.

Production begins once your final product specifications have been confirmed and the deposit has been received.

Made-to-order products will generally be ready for shipment within 60 days of production commencement.

As a general guide:

  • Production timeframe: up to approximately 60 days from production commencement
  • Delivery timeframe after production: approximately 4 to 6 weeks
  • Estimated total timeframe: approximately 12 to 15 weeks from production commencement
  • Regional or remote areas: additional delivery time may apply

These timeframes are estimates only. Delays can occur due to production schedules, supplier availability, final specification changes, freight schedules, customs processing, public holidays, weather events or courier issues outside our control.

We will provide production progress photos at key stages where available.

Once your order has been confirmed, we can provide the packed dimensions and shipment weight for freight planning or quotation purposes.

Freight Quotes

Delivery is available Australia-wide. Freight is quoted after your order is placed and before dispatch.

For oversized, regional or remote deliveries, we will confirm the freight quote with you before dispatch.

If a delivery location cannot be serviced by our standard freight partners, we will contact you to discuss available options.

Your order will not be released for shipping until the remaining balance and confirmed freight charges have been paid.

Kerbside Delivery

Standard delivery is kerbside only. This means your order will be delivered to the kerb, driveway, building entrance or most accessible ground-level point at the delivery address.

Standard delivery does not include:

  • Carrying items upstairs
  • Delivery through difficult access points
  • Placement inside your room of choice
  • Assembly or installation
  • Removal of packaging
  • Removal of old furniture

Please ensure you have suitable help available to move the item from the kerbside delivery point into your home or premises.

Access Requirements

Before ordering, please check that your furniture can safely fit through all relevant access points, including doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts, apartment entrances, tight corners and loading areas.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the item can be delivered to the intended location. If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, additional redelivery, storage or return freight fees may apply.

Missed Deliveries and Redelivery

If you miss a scheduled delivery, provide an incorrect address, or are not available to receive the item during the agreed delivery window, redelivery fees may apply.

Checking Your Order on Arrival

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If there is visible damage to the packaging, take photos before opening the item.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the packaging
  • Clear photos of the item
  • A description of the issue

Please do not dispose of the item or packaging until we have reviewed the issue.
