Modular Shelving 787

Description

The Modular Shelving 787 is a modular shelving unit designed for books, objects, art, media and display storage. Its powder-coated steel panels are held within a chromed tubular frame, giving the piece the crisp geometry and adaptable character associated with classic modular furniture.

Design Notes

Inspired by the modular furniture system developed by Fritz Haller and Paul Schärer, the Modular Shelving 787 translates its disciplined grid, chromed tubular framework and adaptable storage logic into an accessible contemporary reproduction. Its restrained construction allows colour, proportion and configuration to define the piece while retaining the architectural character of the original design language.
