Description
The Le Corbusier LC2 3 Seater Sofa is a made-to-order faithful reproduction of the compact Grand Confort seating family developed by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret. The LC2 is defined by tighter, more upright proportions, a firmer and more structured sit, and cushions held closely within its exposed tubular metal frame.
Choose the LC2 if you prefer a sharper architectural profile, a more compact footprint and a firmer seating feel. Compared with the LC3, it sits visually tighter and more formal, making it especially useful where space is limited or where a crisp modernist silhouette is the priority.
Design Notes
The LC2 and LC3 share the same modernist idea of placing upholstered volumes inside an exposed tubular frame, but they create noticeably different seating experiences. The LC2 is the more compact and structured expression. The LC3, often referred to as Grand Modèle, expands the proportions and softens the cushioning for a more relaxed lounge feel.
For customers comparing the two, the choice is primarily about scale and comfort: LC2 for compact, upright and architectural; LC3 for broad, deep and relaxed.

Upholstery Guide
Many of our pieces are available in a range of upholstery options, from practical everyday finishes to more premium leather and wool selections. Available options vary by product. Each material has a different look, feel and price point, so the right choice depends on how you want the piece to sit within your space.
PU Leather
A smooth, easy-care synthetic leather option with a clean finish. PU Leather is a practical entry-level choice for customers who want the look of leather without moving into premium leather pricing.
Cashmere
A soft woven fabric with a warm, tactile finish. Cashmere is a good choice for a softer, more relaxed look and works especially well on lounge chairs, sofas and sculptural upholstered pieces.
Microfibre Leather
A durable synthetic leather with a refined surface feel. Microfibre Leather offers a more elevated finish than standard PU Leather, with good everyday practicality and a clean, modern appearance.
Textured Danish Wool
A woven wool-style upholstery with visible texture and depth. This option gives the piece a more design-led, mid-century feel and works well when you want the upholstery to add character rather than sit flat.
Cashmere Danish Wool
A softer wool-style option with a more refined hand feel. Cashmere Danish Wool offers warmth, texture and a slightly more elevated finish, making it a strong choice for statement chairs and sofas.
Italian Corrected Leather
A genuine leather option with a more consistent, treated surface. Corrected leather is designed to offer a cleaner and more uniform appearance while still giving the piece the feel and presence of real leather.
Italian Aniline Leather
A premium genuine leather option with a softer, more natural finish. Aniline leather is known for its depth, character and natural variation, making each piece feel more individual. It is best suited to customers who appreciate a more authentic leather look and are comfortable with natural markings and patina over time.
Premium Waxed Leather
A rich, characterful leather finish with a waxed surface effect. Premium Waxed Leather has a more lived-in, tactile quality and may develop natural variation with use, making it ideal for customers who want a warmer, more vintage-inspired finish.
Please note that colours and textures may vary slightly between screens, production batches and lighting conditions. Swatches are intended as a guide only.
